sleep

Well Leslie...I tried out the howlite last night...and I'm thinking...I should have worn it on my HEAD, because I had a really rough night last night.  I didn't sleep much at all, but maybe if you had some stones and not just the necklace...maybe that would work.  OR>.....it could be that maybe I was worried about rolling over and breaking them....although, I don't know why, because lia sophia has a lifetime replacement guarantee on all of their jewelry, so that should not have bothered me...just lots of things were going through my head.   yes, that's got to be it...wear it on my head the next time....

anyway....I am excited about conference this year again coming up in June.  CLINTON KELLY is going to join us again.  He was so "freakin' fabulous" last year and brought his own closet to our stage.   He has great fashion knowledge and will give us MORE info this year.  One of the things that he told us last year  was get rid of the hoody!    That is right after almost 2,000 of us bought brand new lia sophia hoodies...oh well, comfort needs to play a part in there as well.

More later, when I am more awake!  Have a great day!

back to school

Well, it is back to school...ugh!  I walked into a mess..a flood in my room.  The drinking fountain froze over spring break and broke.  Luckily, nothing major was damaged.  My heart goes out to people that are truly in a flood.   It was a mess to clean up.  I can't even imagine what it is like to have to deal with a real flood!  I was fortunate.

anyway, we are back at it and only 42 days of school left.   I can't wait, because then I really get to work my lia sophia business every day.  I loved that last summer.  It was great to get out to connect and reach out to so many people.  It was great fun!

well, now on to telling you more about the new jewelry in the spring/summer ia sophia catalog.....it is awesome!

We left off a the ECLECTIC METAL MIXTURES....
page 30 has a new necklace - MANTRA, has a mellow color palette and natural elements of abalone, mother of pearl, and wood that says to you  "I am calm and relaxed."  A good choice if you're expecting a hectic day at work.  Also on the page is QUARRY with pierced earrings and a necklace that add subtle flash to some of those plain tops that might need a pick me up.   It has a smooth open ring of matte silver with tiny dimpled stones of gold, silver and hematite.   Wear the MULTIPLICITY BRACELET - page 33 to add to your already great accessories.
BEACHFRONT is another great new necklace with abalone and mother of pearl and jasper along a strand of silver chain.  This would be great worn with blacks, white and neutrals in your wardrobe.
RIDGE earrings and necklace has the solid curve of polished silver that cracks open into a cutout pattern that gives this necklace and earrings a contemporary edge.   The necklace is knotted to a fawn suede cord and the fishhook earrings are modern day classics.

DAY DREAMER STRETCH BRACELET, page 32  is a great addition to the necklace and earrings...LOVE THIS BRACELET...with its tri tone matte gold, silver and copper metal charms with etchings that speak of peace, love and harmony of course!
SCRAPBOOK EARRINGS AND NECKLACE...love the name...I had to buy this just because of the name and not to mention how cute it is!  this is finely detailed and filigreed matte silver circles that evokes a feeling of nostalgia.  Each little charm is centered with a tiny clear cut crystal to add just a bit of flicker and bling to this great set.
FOOTSIE is a great ankle bracelet to go with all of the tri tones...cute, cute, cute along with the
TRI RING...love this!
Very unique hexagon shapp and bursts of bling that will go along with any of these metal mixture pieces ....and one of my favorites for this spring is

DESERT ROSE that I talked about last week...page 33, GORGEOUS with its matte copper chain of genuine howlite* and mother of pearl along with a variety of clear and smoky glass and resin beads that have been polished, faceted, frosted, and marbeeized...subtle tones...conspicuous excitement!

*•is named for its discoverer Henry How, a Nova Scotia geologist. Howlite is always white or gray but can be easily dyed. It is found in continental evaporite deposits with other baroate and evaporite minerals. It forms in nodules that appear like the heads of cauliflower. ...interesting!!!!
